Naema Tahir about Jane Eyre

September 27 2008

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is one of the favorite books of writer and lawyer Naema Tahir. In the book annex Cicero De Volkskrant she laid last Friday why: "Together with my sisters read and reread I Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë when I was in high school, especially the passages where Jane conversed with Rochester, in whose house they verbeef as governess to his daughter. The interviews show the intense tension of the budding love between Jane and Rochester. I have since always been fond of books that the slow discovery of passions and affections describe. Literature eminently appropriate for the delayed compaction of unfulfilled desire. "
